Old school First Aid box / cabinet with compartments and list of contents £0.00
P&P free

RESERVED Old school First Aid box, with drop-down front, revealing 7 compartments and a nice typed list of its past contents, including the note referring to the 'stock room next to the Head's room'. Front fastens with a metal knob and a catch at the top and is very securely held, with a side hook adding further security. Chains on either side hold the door open, whilst rifling for your plasters and eye patches. 'FIRST AID' is spelled out in red on the front. A nicely made box, varnished to a rich golden brown colour, it must date from at least the 1950's.

Condition: Very good - apart from stained interior.
Fabric: Wood
SIZE: 44.5cm(w) x 36cm(h) x 14.5cm(d)

OUR TIPS
Secure this to the wall as a great alternative bathroom cabinet. Two holes drilled in the back (31.5cm apart), showing it has been wall-mounted in the past.

Additional Information
Very strong and sturdy, and the front and sides are merely marked with very old scratches and a few little paint splashes which give the box its genuine patina of age and use. The metal hook is a little bit rusted, and there are stains in the compartments which tell the stories of the many grazed knees and bumped heads of yesteryear.
